Creative Hat Making with Peggy Juve Fridays, 1 – 3 pm November 8, 15, & 22 & December 6 Suggested donation: $40 for this 4 session class $10 materials fee Learn how to make four stunning and unique styles of hats in four two-hour classes. This class is for people who have a basic understanding of sewing and associated techniques. We will construct a variety of hat styles and bring our individual aesthetics for the decorative elements. Each participant will create a minimum of four hat styles from a variety of fabrics. Students will be asked to bring a short list of tools and materials for their individual use; some materials will be supplied. We will use wool, cotton, polar fleece and explore some up-cycling of materials. Bring your imagination and a pair of shears and we will all be mad hatters together! We have some sewing machines at Create Space, if you have a light portable machine, please bring that for your own use. Peggy Juve has been a practicing studio artist, shown regionally and nationally, since 1977.
