Opening Reception Saturday, April 5 from 5 to 7 during Langley’s First Saturday Art Walk.
April is the month when the Sculpture Garden looks at its best.Nothing completes a garden’s full beauty like a unique and well placed sculpture. On display will be twenty sculptures in bronze, steel, stone, and glass by nine artists. We welcome new pieces by Jeff Day, and Lloyd Whannell to join works by Sue Taves, Dan Freeman, Georgia Gerber, Dale Reiger, Robert Adamson, Lane Tompkins, and Sharon Spencer.
On Saturday, April 26 our Sculpture Garden will be part of International Sculpture Day, an annual event organized by the International Sculpture Center of Hamilton, NJ. Other Whidbey Island participants include Cloudstone Sculpture Park and Price Sculpture Forest.
Rob Schouten Gallery, a premier showcase for Whidbey Island and Northwest artists, is located at 101 Anthes Avenue, Langley WA at the corner of First and Anthes. April gallery hours: Weekends 11 – 5; Tuesdays & Wednesdays by Appointment, and other Weekdays 11 – 4.
