Join us for the 25th annual Chum Run 5K, and walk or run
to benefit the Healthy Island Youth Scholarship Fund (HIYI).**
Enjoy fun & friendly competition while helping to raise funds for a good cause. Awards are given three deep in student and age group divisions. Medals given to first place three males/females overall, high school, and middle school divisions. Awards will be given by place finishing, divided by age division. Youth may run with their adults. Awards will be available at the Park District office for 2 weeks after the race, in case you’re not available to stick around for the awards ceremony.
Location & Parking: The 5K race starts and finishes at South Whidbey Community Park, utilizing the park’s clean and clear forest paths. The gates will be closed, please park next door at South Whidbey High School.
Date/Time: Saturday, September 23rd ~ 10 a.m. race start
Fee & Registration: $20 by Sept. 17, $25 week of,
$30 day of race, $15 youth (under 14)

We recommend registering in advance.
Younger kids may participate in the Fry Run, a free, casual, short-distance foot race, divided by ages, with prizes. Parents should be present to supervise for distancing and/or run alongside. No advance registration required for this.
