Adobe Lightroom Training
April 5, 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Are you a photographer having trouble staying organized with your digital files or wish you could better process your images so they look how you imagine? Whether you’re new to Lightroom (CC or Classic) or have just felt like you can’t get your arms around Lightroom, this working with Adobe Lightroom class is for you.
This is a 9-hour in-person class that covers three key elements for working in Adobe Lightroom
– organizing your images, editing your images, and sharing your images.
We start the course focused on importing, organizing, and finding your images using the Library Module. From backups to collections, we leave no stone unturned. We then turn our focus to processing images. Lightroom has some fantastic tools for editing photographs, many of which have been updated in the past year and, in some ways, have made Photoshop redundant. We will detail all the tools in the Develop module and review workflow options to make the best edits possible. Once we have a handle on the processing, we will focus on sharing and printing out of Lightroom. Finally, we will touch on some fantastic ways to use the Adobe cloud tools to make Lightroom work across all your devices. Along the way, tips and tricks for organizing, editing, and printing will make it easier to stay organized, process large volumes of work, and free up more time so you can spend it behind the camera.
The class runs on April 5, 12, and 19, 2023, from 12:30-3:30 pm in the Front Room at Bayview Corner. Classes are in-person only. No computers will be provided, but you can bring your own laptop to follow along or just a pen and paper to take notes.
Regular class price is $325, or if you need scholarship support
to take the class, the cost is $250. Space is limited.
