Kelly Liedtke is a pen and ink artist with a full time life, who resides in the Coupeville area. The drawings are created using .038 and .005 mm fineliner ink pens and micron or similar ink pens. Each drawing takes between 20 and 60 hours to complete based on color and density. The subjects are usually ordinary miracles shown in a new perspective. The drawings encourage the viewer to delight in the shadows and dance in the highlights.
She will be the featured artist in the autumn for H2O magazine with distribution in Europe, North America and beyond. Her drawing “Kingfishing” won the Regional Drawing division at the Lincoln Gallery, Colorado juried show and an Honorable Mention at the Pacific Northwest Art School. Congratulations, Kelly!
