Haunted Fort Casey
October 25 @ 6:30 pm - October 26 @ 10:30 pm| $10
Whidbey Island’s Fort Casey, already scary enough in the daytime,
will be visited by some seriously ghoulish types as we approach Halloween.
Tickets are $10 each and PRE-PURCHASE IS REQUIRED!
Only 1000 tickets will be sold for each night’s performance on October 25th
and 26th by Whidbey Playhouse, so you’ll want to get your tickets early!
Fort Casey is an old military fort on Whidbey Island. Built by solders to defend Puget Sound against invading ships, its pop-up guns (cannons, really) could rain shells down on any unfortunate vessels.
The dark powder and shell magazines are scarey enough on a summer’s day.
Imagine what they’re like on a night where ghouls are loose!
Braving the fort and it’s “friends” has become one of
Whidbey Island’s most popular Halloween events!
For the younger kids, there’s a Kid Zone with a Bounce House and games.
Tickets go on sale September 1st at the Whidbey Playhouse website.
Proceeds benefit restoration projects at Admiralty Head Lighthouse
