Kid’s Class- Choreography and Dance

Ages: 8-15
In this two-hour intensive, young movers will be transformed into dance makers! We will start with a multi-genre warmup and then talk about the different elements of choreography and how to begin building a dance. Dancers will learn some basic partnering techniques and then work in small groups to collaboratively craft pieces with the help of a Meander professional. At the end of our session, we will conclude with a performance of the pieces we’ve generated.
