In November, Museo will welcome Whidbey artists Laura Hudson and Jean Whitesavage to the gallery. Both artists create from an intuitive place, patiently crafting their individual medium until an oft-elusive sense of balance is achieved.
In Laura Hudson’s first show at Museo, she debuts figurative paintings that playfully juggle universal dichotomies through pattern, color and mark making. Laura’s work is exciting – dancing between representational and abstract, but also grounded in deeply relatable themes.
Longtime Museo artist Jean Whitesavage brings her versatile sculptures that balance the delicate, botanical form with the resilient medium of hand forged steel.
You’re invited to join us during Langley’s Art Walk for the opening reception on Saturday, November 4th from 5-7pm. The exhibition opens Thursday, November 2nd and runs through Sunday, November 26th.
