An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 28, 2022
Escape the dark of winter and join this four-week-long series re-acquainting students to oil painting. In this workshop, students will watch landscape demonstrations, ask questions and refresh their knowledge of alla prima or wet-into-wet oil painting basics as well as color theory. Handouts will be provided and students will be encouraged to take notes. Copyright-free landscape photos will be available or students can bring their own. There will be time for one-on-one critiques and individual help from the instructor as you complete your masterpiece. For the best outcome, students should have a basic understanding of painting even if it’s in a different medium. Students are to furnish their own supplies.
