In this workshop we will use natural and found materials to make series of prints on fabric, each related but unique. Using thickened dye and simple tools we will make monotypes of positive and negative images. We will also use paste resists and dye attractant to expand the mark-making possibilities of your found materials. Resulting fabrics can be used for quilting, wearables, and collage. This workshop emphasizes process and experimentation, learning to control technique while celebrating the happy accident
