Sketching the Journey

July 14 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

| $85

No experience necessary. All supplies provided. Supply fee is included in price.

The perfect introduction to using ink pen and watercolor to create lively sketches. Learn how fun it is to mix these two mediums to capture scenes around you locally or while you are traveling. You will learn an easy way to begin sketching designed for beginners. I’ve taught this to many people and they all came away amazed at how it easy it was. In addition to learning how to sketch and add watercolor, we will also cover tips and supplies for making traveling light easier. You’ll learn ways to mix in writing too.

Optional: Bring photos of subjects you would like to sketch, or you can pick from a variety of our photos. You are welcome to bring your own painting supplies if you prefer- as our brushes are student grade and the paint palette is limited to 10 professional grade colors.

Instructor: Liesel Lund
Maximum number of students: 10
Lunch: There will be a one hour break for lunch. You may bring your lunch and eat in the studio or go out to eat. You are welcome to stay and work on your project during lunch as well.
