The Adventurer’s Journal
July 17 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm| $85
No experience required.
What do you get when you combine a used hardback book, fabric scraps, trims, decorative tins, ribbon and beads? A luscious journal with pages full of wonder! Come learn how to deconstruct a book, create a spine and tie in the pages. Discover how to age and distress the pages to make it look old. You’ll learn how to cut down a decorative tin container (like a cookie or popcorn tin). To create our magical covers, we’ll attach tin, fabrics and trims. Your book can have any theme you wish: mermaid, pirate, magician, Victorian, nature journal-whatever speaks to you! Create a whole new world in a book! Please see photos on website for examples of other themed journals.
