Our Guest Artist for September is Pamela Good
Happiness, gratitude, and hope are what I paint and express through my art. My personal gratitude is for the beauty that surrounds us here on Whidbey Island. The abundant flowers and produce in the summer, our beautiful beaches and historic sites that are just minutes away. My paintings connect the feelings, expression, beauty, and colors, that are part of our environment in this precious world where we live. This is the story I want to share through my art, I want my paintings to bring you moments of happiness and joy
Our featured Member artist for September is Deon Matzen
Color and the rural scene are features of Deon’s oil paintings, such things as old trucks, varmints, and old buildings in rural settings. She has lived on Whidbey fifty-plus years and finds much inspiration from the surrounding countryside. Her paintings feature bright colors and are representational by design.
