Whidbey Art Gallery October 2020
October 1 @ 11:00 am - October 31 @ 4:00 pm| Free
Whidbey Art Gallery is happy to be open Friday through Monday from 11- 4. We look forward to seeing our gallery friends and new visitors, and there is a great selection of unique work to see. Need a gift to lift someone’s spirits? You’ll find many options at the gallery from jewelry to inspiring wall art.
Whidbey Art Gallery members will continue a show entitled
‘Welcome Back Whidbey’. The show’s theme has changed to ‘Fall’. It’s worth a visit!
Our featured artist for October is Judi Nyerges, a Sketcher/Illustrator who works most comfortably in watercolors and pen and ink. She has lived her whole life in small, quaint villages near the water – Bothell and the Sammamish Slough, Rockford and Lake Michigan and, for the past eleven years, Langley by the Salish Sea. Her favorite subjects are familiar views around Whidbey Island. These vignettes are from a series of thirty done for a website she recently hosted challenging herself, and other artists from around the world, to sketch their “Home Town Views”.
We’re following all the state guidelines and the gallery is beautiful. We have hand sanitizer available throughout the gallery, one-way traffic and masks are required. You will enter on 2nd Street and exit onto Frick Lane.
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram or on the gallery’s website. You can contact the gallery to purchase art shown on Facebook or Instagram at email@example.com or browse the online store at www.whidbeyartists.com
