    The Whidbey Island Garden Tour, Inc. is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group established in 1996. We provide funding to local groups that work to improve Whidbey Island’s shared habitat. Over the past 22 years, the tour has raised more than $300,000 for these groups. More than 80 private gardens have been opened to the public for the tour and many of the owners have also continued to participate by serving as volunteers in various roles. Sandy began her Sundown Stained Glass Studio in 1980, and uses the Louis Comfort Tiffany copper foil techniques to create her colorful stained glass designs. Her passion is to form pieces representing the flowers and animal life she finds here on Whidbey Island as well as on her many eco-trips.
