Are you a painter? Would you like to create more bold and exciting paintings? Learn more about the use of color, value (light and dark) and composition? The class focuses on making your paintings more creative and dynamic. Gentle critiques and optional assignments or just plain help with problem solving in your creative process. All painting and sketching media accepted.

In this introduction to soft block and pochoir (stencil) techniques we will explore 3 different ways of making repeating patterns. We will use combinations of these techniques to up cycle fabric scraps and paper into gift cards, wrapping paper and wearables.
